The Forum of Civics Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to preservation efforts primarily in the Houston area. This brochure was created to commemorate the historical significance of the organization, the building and its surrounding gardens. †
Lights Out
Just in time for Earth Week, the “Energy Capital of the World”, Houston, Texas, launched a commitment to become the “Energy Conservation Capital” by turning off the lights downtown. †
Frontier
The Frontier Oil Corporation 2006 Annual Report was centered around the components of the outfitted horse as it related, metaphorically speaking, to events that transpired during the past year. For instance, the saddle supports the rider, preparing him for the rigors of a long ride. †

AIGA Houston
To invite the design community to a presentation by Herman Miller’s creative director, Steve Frykholm, a play on the popular Aeron chair was illustrated that casts a shadow on the event title, “Who is Behind Herman Miller”. The poster doubles as a self-mailer, with event information on the back.
Texas Flag
To know Texas is to know its history. Text from the state constitution, autobiographies and a novel represent the color fields of the flag. The flag is typographically sound, set primarily in 5 pt Adobe Caslon with no hyphens.
Department of Art
